Media Center Guides is not associated with Microsoft in any way
I started Media Center Guides in June 2007 as a place for users to share how to perform specific tasks in Media Center. There were already a number of excellent forums related to Media Center, but I often found it difficult to find good information about how to achieve specific things with Media Center. Not wanting to create a forum style site, I decided that a Wiki would probably be helpful.
I started the site as a Wiki using MediaWiki; however, in April 2008 I changed it to be Drupal based. This has allowed for easier article development and a much richer user experience. I still like the idea of a Wiki community and therefore all articles are stil user editable, and anyone is encouraged to submit new information.
